Diesel Proof offers replacement, performance, racing, and specialty components for diesel-powered vehicles. Some products may alter vehicle performance, horsepower, torque, fueling, airflow, exhaust flow, emissions characteristics, or other vehicle systems.

Customers are responsible for understanding the products they purchase, confirming compatibility with their vehicle and intended use, and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

The information below applies generally to products sold by Diesel Proof. Individual products may be subject to additional manufacturer-specific warnings, restrictions, emissions classifications, installation requirements, or terms displayed on the applicable product page or included with the product.

Vehicle Modifications & Customer Responsibility

Installing aftermarket components may alter the operation, performance, reliability, emissions characteristics, safety characteristics, or service requirements of a vehicle.

Performance modifications may increase horsepower, torque, boost pressure, fueling, exhaust temperature, cylinder pressure, drivetrain load, or other mechanical stresses beyond original equipment specifications.

These changes may increase wear or contribute to the failure of factory or aftermarket components, including engines, transmissions, turbochargers, fuel systems, cooling systems, driveline components, and other vehicle systems.

By purchasing and installing aftermarket products, the customer is responsible for determining whether the product is appropriate for the vehicle, its condition, its existing modifications, and its intended use.

Diesel Proof does not guarantee that a particular modification will be appropriate for every vehicle simply because the product is listed as compatible with a particular year, make, model, or engine.

Fitment & Vehicle Configuration

Diesel Proof makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate vehicle fitment information using data supplied by manufacturers, distributors, and other product-data sources.

Vehicle configurations may vary based on production date, emissions configuration, cab or chassis configuration, transmission, trim level, factory options, previous modifications, and other factors.

Customers are responsible for confirming product compatibility before installation.

When there is uncertainty regarding fitment, customers should contact Diesel Proof or the product manufacturer before purchasing or installing the product.

Professional Installation

Many products sold by Diesel Proof require specialized tools, mechanical knowledge, diagnostic equipment, calibration, or professional installation.

Unless a product is specifically intended for consumer installation, Diesel Proof recommends installation by a qualified technician familiar with the vehicle and the type of modification being performed.

Improper installation, calibration, modification, maintenance, or use may cause vehicle damage, component failure, personal injury, or other losses.

Customers should follow all manufacturer installation instructions, torque specifications, maintenance procedures, calibration requirements, and operating recommendations.

Emissions Compliance

Federal, state, and local laws regulate modifications to emissions-controlled motor vehicles.

Certain aftermarket products may be legal for use on public-road vehicles, while others may be restricted to particular vehicles, jurisdictions, applications, or forms of competition or off-road use.

The availability of a product for purchase from Diesel Proof does not, by itself, mean that the product is legal for installation or use on every vehicle or in every jurisdiction.

Customers are responsible for determining whether the purchase, installation, and use of a product complies with the laws and regulations applicable to their vehicle and location.

Diesel Proof does not authorize or encourage the unlawful removal, defeat, bypass, tampering, or disabling of emissions-control equipment.

California & CARB Compliance

California regulates aftermarket emissions-related parts through the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Certain aftermarket products may require a valid CARB Executive Order (EO) or another applicable exemption before they may legally be sold, installed, or used on emissions-controlled vehicles in California.

Products that have received an applicable CARB Executive Order may display an EO number or other emissions-compliance information on the product page.

Other products may be identified as:

• Legal for sale or use in California for specified applications

• Not legal for sale or use in California

• Not legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles

• Intended solely for qualifying competition or racing applications

• Pending CARB approval

• Otherwise restricted based on vehicle or application

Customers in California are responsible for confirming that a product is legal for their specific vehicle and intended use before purchasing or installing it.

A product being physically compatible with a vehicle does not necessarily mean that it is emissions-compliant for that vehicle in California.

Diesel Proof may restrict, refuse, or cancel the sale or shipment of a product to California when the product's manufacturer, supplier, emissions classification, applicable law, or other information indicates that the product cannot legally be sold or shipped to that destination.

States Adopting California Emissions Standards

California is not the only jurisdiction that may regulate aftermarket emissions-related products.

Other states or jurisdictions may adopt or enforce California emissions standards or establish additional requirements governing aftermarket vehicle modifications.

A product that cannot legally be sold, installed, or used in California may also be restricted in other jurisdictions.

Customers are responsible for understanding the laws applicable to the location where the vehicle is registered, operated, modified, or used.

Diesel Proof reserves the right to restrict or cancel the sale or shipment of products where required by applicable law or supplier/manufacturer restrictions.

Competition, Racing & Off-Road Products

Certain products sold by Diesel Proof may be designed, manufactured, or marketed specifically for racing, competition, off-highway, or other restricted applications.

Products designated for competition or off-road use must only be purchased, installed, and used in a manner permitted by applicable law.

Labels such as "race use only," "competition use only," "off-road use only," or similar descriptions do not authorize use that would otherwise violate federal, state, or local law.

Customers purchasing these products are responsible for ensuring that their intended application qualifies for the stated use and complies with all applicable requirements.

Manufacturer Product Information

Diesel Proof receives product descriptions, specifications, fitment information, emissions classifications, warnings, photographs, installation instructions, and other information from manufacturers and distribution partners.

We make reasonable efforts to present this information accurately. However, manufacturers may revise products, specifications, applications, emissions certifications, warnings, or legal classifications without notice.

Manufacturer-specific restrictions, warnings, instructions, emissions information, and compliance requirements applicable to a particular product should be reviewed before purchase and installation.

If product-specific manufacturer information conflicts with general information contained on this page, the more specific product or manufacturer requirements should be followed.

CARB Executive Order Information

When a CARB Executive Order number is displayed on a Diesel Proof product page, the EO may apply only to specific vehicles, model years, engines, configurations, or applications covered by that Executive Order.

The presence of an EO number should not be interpreted as a representation that the product is approved for every vehicle with which the product may otherwise be physically compatible.

Customers should verify that their specific vehicle and application are covered by the applicable Executive Order.

California Proposition 65

Some products sold by Diesel Proof may expose individuals to chemicals identified by the State of California as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

Where applicable, products may display a California Proposition 65 warning supplied by the manufacturer or required under applicable law.

Factory Vehicle Warranties

Installation or use of aftermarket components may affect manufacturer warranty coverage depending on the product, modification, failure involved, and applicable law.

Diesel Proof does not determine whether a vehicle manufacturer will approve or deny a vehicle warranty claim.

Customers concerned about the effect of a modification on their factory vehicle warranty should review their vehicle manufacturer's warranty terms and obtain appropriate guidance before modifying the vehicle.

Performance Results

Any horsepower, torque, fuel economy, temperature reduction, airflow, towing, acceleration, or other performance figures displayed on Diesel Proof are generally based on information supplied by manufacturers or testing performed under particular conditions.

Actual results may vary based on vehicle condition, configuration, modifications, fuel, elevation, climate, tuning, installation, driving conditions, and numerous other factors.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, performance figures should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every vehicle will achieve identical results.

Product Use & Assumption of Risk

Automotive repair and vehicle modification involve inherent risks.

Customers are responsible for evaluating the condition of their vehicle, selecting appropriate components, obtaining qualified installation when necessary, and operating the vehicle safely after modification.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Diesel Proof is not responsible for damage, loss, injury, vehicle downtime, loss of use, or other consequences resulting from improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, unlawful use, failure to follow manufacturer instructions, or use of a product outside its intended application.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Right to Restrict or Cancel Orders

Diesel Proof reserves the right to refuse, restrict, or cancel an order when we reasonably determine that:

• A product cannot legally be sold or shipped to the customer's destination

• Manufacturer or supplier restrictions prohibit the transaction

• Additional compliance information is required

• Product or vehicle information indicates a potential application or compliance issue

• Completing the transaction could violate applicable law or regulation

If an order is canceled before fulfillment for compliance reasons, any captured payment associated with the canceled product will be handled in accordance with the applicable order and payment process.
