Warranty Information
Last Updated: September 22, 2026
Diesel Proof is committed to providing quality products from trusted manufacturers throughout the diesel performance industry. Many of the products available through Diesel Proof are covered by a manufacturer's warranty.
Because warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product, warranty coverage, duration, eligibility, and available remedies are determined by the applicable manufacturer's warranty policy.
Manufacturer Warranties
Unless otherwise specifically stated by Diesel Proof, products sold through Diesel Proof are subject to the warranty provided by the product's manufacturer.
Manufacturer warranties may vary based on factors including:
- Product type
- Manufacturer
- Vehicle application
- Intended use
- Installation
- Modifications
- Maintenance
- Length of ownership
Some manufacturers may offer limited lifetime warranties, while others may provide coverage for a specific period of time or mileage. Certain products may carry limited or no manufacturer warranty.
Any warranty information displayed on a Diesel Proof product page is provided for customer convenience and should be considered together with the manufacturer's current warranty terms.
Need Help With a Warranty Claim?
If you believe a product purchased from Diesel Proof may have a warranty-related issue, contact Diesel Proof before removing, replacing, returning, or shipping the product whenever reasonably possible.
Please provide:
- Your Diesel Proof order number
- The product or part number
- Vehicle year, make, model, and engine
- A description of the issue
- Photographs or videos when applicable
- Any diagnostic information or trouble codes available
Additional information may be required depending on the product and manufacturer's warranty process.
Diesel Proof will help identify the appropriate warranty procedure and assist in coordinating with the manufacturer or supplier when applicable.
Warranty Approval
Submitting a warranty claim does not guarantee warranty approval.
Warranty claims may require inspection, testing, diagnostic information, proof of installation, maintenance records, photographs, return of the product, or other documentation requested by the manufacturer.
Final warranty eligibility and the remedy available under a manufacturer's warranty are generally determined by the applicable manufacturer or warranty provider.
Diesel Proof cannot guarantee approval of a manufacturer's warranty claim.
Installation & Vehicle Modifications
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are appropriate for their vehicle and intended application.
Improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, unauthorized modifications, improper maintenance, competition use, or operation outside a manufacturer's intended specifications may affect warranty eligibility.
Professional installation may be recommended or required for certain products.
Always follow the manufacturer's installation instructions, maintenance requirements, and operating recommendations.
Labor & Additional Expenses
Unless specifically covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty, warranty coverage generally does not include costs associated with:
- Labor or installation
- Removal or reinstallation
- Vehicle downtime
- Towing
- Rental vehicles
- Diagnostic expenses
- Shipping or freight
- Lost income
- Other incidental or consequential expenses
Coverage of these expenses, if any, is determined by the applicable manufacturer's warranty.
Do not assume that labor, shipping, or other related expenses will be reimbursed unless specifically authorized.
Shipping a Warranty Product
Do not ship a product to Diesel Proof, a manufacturer, or another location without first receiving return instructions or authorization.
Warranty products may need to be returned to a specific manufacturer, distributor, or service location. The appropriate destination may be different from the address from which your order originally shipped.
Unauthorized returns may delay the warranty process or result in additional shipping expenses.
If a product needs to be returned for inspection, Diesel Proof will provide or help coordinate the appropriate instructions when applicable.
Replacement Products
A replacement product is not automatically issued when a warranty claim is submitted.
Depending on the manufacturer's warranty procedure, a product may need to be inspected, tested, repaired, rebuilt, or otherwise evaluated before a replacement or other remedy is authorized.
If a customer chooses to purchase a replacement product before a warranty claim is completed, reimbursement is not guaranteed unless specifically authorized under the applicable warranty process.
Performance & Competition Products
Certain performance, racing, competition, custom, modified, or off-road products may have different or more limited warranty coverage than standard replacement products.
Customers should review the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms and product-use requirements before installation or use.
Warranty Terms May Vary
Diesel Proof works with numerous manufacturers and suppliers, and their warranty programs may change from time to time.
When a manufacturer's warranty terms differ from the general information provided on this page, the manufacturer's applicable warranty terms will govern the warranty coverage for that product.
